Chinese Food

yep.
Chinese food.
That's what I had for dinner last night.
Brought to me by the guy I have a huge crush on.
His mom and my mom are best friends and he and I grew up together.
He might go to church with us this morning.
I hope so.
I just wish that one of us wasn't so shy and maybe we'd talk more.
Lol.
Glad you guys liked the kitten pics.
I have a new button on my sidebar for TwinspirationalRunner.
You should all check it out! I love this blog! Olga is deff one of my favorites.
Well, off to church!
Happy Sunday!!

Ups and Downs

Hey guys. I know I'm not posting as much as I didi during the summer, but it's because school is really taking up a lot of my time. As I've said previously, I'm taking Honors courses and college-level courses. Studying and I have become friends, and quick.

The Chemistry test I was so worried about?
I made a "B". Not my usual grade "A" performance, but my 85 was one of the highest grades in the 15 student class.

That was the Up.

Here's the Down.

I'm home today sick.
I think I might have the flu.
Savannah had it last week.
I think she may have given me an unwanted gift.

Pray for me, oh dear readers, for though I am not worried about my other classes, in the great words of Aunt Linda Franks-AKA Chem. teacher- "CHEMISTRY IS NOT THE CLASS TO MISS"!!!!

And now something I think you've been waiting for.

KITTY PICTURES!!!

I missed kitten update day

....because I was studying and I still am not very confident about the chem test I took today!

I haven't taken any pictures of them because the traffic of kids we had at our house Labor Day weekend scared my mama kitty and so I have been keeping my distance.

The kittens are doing great, though.

There is a stray dog at the elementary school and I want to rescue him.
He is so great. I played with him this morning. He can sit and stay already.
I want to bring him home. I'm waiting for an answer from my dad.

off to a Junior meeting at school.

So it's Labor Day.

And it's raining!
No swimming pool. No kitty pictures. No swinging. No running outside with the dogs. No grilling out. Nothing.

I'm not here to complain, though, because God was etremely giving with the weather we had earier this weekend to do all those things and go to the beach.

Pictures up soon!

!!!!KITTEN UPDATE!!!!

It is kitten update day, but I have no pictures, as it's raining.
I'll get some up for you sometime this week.
The kitties are doing very well, though. All of their eyes are opened and they are all walking around a bit.

It was Labor Day weekend, I was 16! Packed the cooler with our lunch meat, and we drove down to the closest beach...

Yeah, I know that's not how the song goes, but that's what we did!

Uncle Ron and Aunt Kathy brought Dalton and came to our place. We picked up my other cousins that live here (Ross and Tabetha), packed three coolers full of lunch meant, comdements, bread, soda, energy drink, etc.. And then we piled into two vehicles and hit the road! Emerald Isle here we come! We hit the beach store for some T- Shirts and an umbrella when we got there, but we came out with T-Shirts, the umbrella, a beach tent for the baby, flip flops, a couple towels..... Yep, that's how we roll! Go in for one thing, come out with way more, and sometimes forget what we went for in the first place... BUT I DIGRESS!

Anyway, so we finally got to the sand and sun and set up all our stuff.
Tabby and I hit the water like white on rice and we stayed in for hours!
There were all these little fish that kept swimming by and we tried to catch them, but let's just say I'm no Mullet Fingers!
We took a lunch break and then we wanted to relax, but we wanted to be in the water, so Tabetha and myself, as bright a we are, took the lawn chairs to the water and layed in them right where the waves break. It was all great until a wave broke too hard and we went flying sand and all! I wish mom had gotten a picture!

Speaking of pictures I did get some for you guys, but they aren't uploaded yet, because I'm lazy. They will be up soon.

It was overall a pretty nice trip, but when we got home, something furry was missing!

Chloe, one of the kittens, had managed to climb into a box out of sight. We must have looked for her for almost twenty minutes, but she is back with the litter now, safe and sound.
Pictures of the kittens tomorrow too! Their eyes are opened!!!

Love you all, Pics up soon.

Lots of Tests and Opened Eyes

So today at school i had two tests.
One in US History Honors, and one in Chemistry Honors.
I got the second highest grade is US History with a 98, and the third highest grade in Chemistry, with an 85. Aunt Linda (aka, Chem teacher, Mrs. Franks) said that she was extremely proud of me because she has seen me BOMB at lower level sciences. I always pass with above a "C", but to bomb, for me, IS a "C". So I am mighty proud of my "B"!
I have two more tests tomorrow, both in English 3 Honors. One Vocabulary and one Grammar. I'll do well on those, English is my THING! =]]

On another note:
I have officially decided to do my graduation project on photography.
I am keeping my eyes open for every little thing I can possibly photograph until I get a mentor. This reminds me, the kittens opened their eyes today!!!!
Pictures up Monday, as usual.

Off to bed!!
Love and Blessings to All!!!

Concinnate- Scribe Scuffle for September!

concinnate  –verb (used with object), -nated, -nating. to arrange or blend together skillfully, as parts or elements; put together in a harmonious, precisely appropriate, or elegant manner.

As humans, all of us concinnate things. Whether it's an idea, a meal, an outfit, compounds using elements of the periodic table (sorry, I'm taking Chemistry), an essay or other type of paper, or any project.

Today, as with every Scribe Scuffle entry I post, I am going to concinnate as many of those things as possible into this post, which is my current project, and it will make sense. I hope. =]]

Concinnating an idea. Well, to concinnate an idea, there is an entire thought process. First, you decide that you have a thought in mind. Then you build or brainstorm on that thought until you have a whole idea or many ideas. For example, I need to concinnate an idea for my senior graduation project. I know I have to do that, so there's my beginning thought. Brainstorming on my thought, I found that I could concinnate all kinda of ideas, and now, I just have to pick one!

Concinnating a meal. This is the example Kingdom Mama, Mrs. Sarah, used. When concinnating a whole meal , you need enough ingredients to make an entree and at least one side dish. Once you have your ingredients, directions would be helpful if you aren't some kind of cooking wiz! When you are ready, and all materials needed are out, you can officially begin to concinnate your meal! More times than not, it will make the most sense to start with your entree, as it will most likely have to cook longer than your side dish, making it easy for you to concinnate your side dish while the entree is cooking. Get your ingredieants and directions for your side dish to one area away from where you will prepare and begin to concinnate the entree. Follow your directions to concinnate the entree, and while it is cooking, concinnate the side dish. When both dishes are cooked, you can complete this concinnation my making them look really pretty on plates! =]] Oh, and be sure your table is already concinnated!

Concinnating an outfit. This one's easy peaasy if you are simple like me! Go to the closet or dresser, and choose a top. Find bottoms to match. Try to get matching shoes and socks. Find acceries that match, too! Your outfit is concinnated! Put it on and go show the world!!

Here comes the Chemestry part! Concinnating compounds using elements on the periodic table. Syke! No Chem lessons for my readers.... yet! I will say that to concinnate the compound water, you need two Hydrogen and one Oxygen. =] H2O. What an awesome concinnation!

This is a whole lot of concinnating!

I have learned, while concinnating this post, that to concennate anything, you should start simple and build up, but make it elegant or smooth in the end. The more skills you have, the easier it will be to concinnate something.

I hope you enjoyed my hopefully well concinnated post!
